onionioni Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 Hi, i succesfully installed Mavericks 10.9.0 (than updated to 10.9.3) on a AMD Phenom II 965be. Now i'm using Clover bootloader and my video card (Sapphire hd7850) uses the right resolution of my monitor (1920x1080). The only problem is that i can't enable hardware acceleration (chess app gives artifacts, laggy safari, laggy interface and widget) but some basics effects are working. I tried changing IDdevice in AMD7000Controller.kext, using some options in Clover and i tried also many pre-fixed kext but with no luck. Can anyone help me please? You processor has code name "Pitcairn" (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_HD_7000_Series#Radeon_HD_7800) so search for that in the info.plist and add it under that.
