What if you DON'T delete AppleACPIPlatform when you install w/ Myhack?

Problem solved. Got a customized bootpack from Hervé. Thanks for him.

Updated to 10.6.8. Only problem is, that LAN doesn't work. Broadcom people hates me!  ---) I'm using Apple USB Ethernet.

Also WLAN doesn't work, but its a Intel Pro/Wirelless XXXXABG, gotta get DW1315 or Airport, the genuine one.

Intel wireless cards are not supported so, indeed, you need to use a compatible model (you know we have a non-exhaustive list of supported list on the OSXL forum). LAN should work with Broadcom 5751 kext but I can't remember if you need the universal binary version or the Intel-only version with Snow Leopard; certainly only the Intel-only version works in Lion and ML. I can check that out and confirm what it is later on.

Maybe for your 2915abg? My thinkpad has the same card, but unsupported graphics, so I didn't try...

@dcai777: that is very old (Tiger/Leopard), unfinished and abandoned work; in addition, the Latitude D430/D620/D630/D820/D830 laptops usually had an Intel 3945abg card. Consider all Intel cards unsupported, full stop.

@TheNuutti8: regarding the LAN kext, it's all explained here.
