voodooPS2 problems!

If you have an ALPS ( as most sandy bridge Dells), then try the attached kext...

 

Recent versions of Rehabman's voodooPS2 have broken ALPS support.

 

it's correct the steps?

 

1.- sudo cp org.rehabman.voodoo.driver.Daemon.plist /Library/LaunchDaemons

2.- sudo cp VoodooPS2Daemon /usr/bin

3.- install kext

4.- repair cache and reboot

Now the trackpad works..... but i don't know why i get this error in preferences

 

This prepane is not designed for ALPS.

Just use the Apple's trackpad settings.

 

PS. If you have issues with battery (as I see in your signature), download and install the kext from here:

I try this kext but mavericks gives me a KP and when i reboot with flags -f the battery icon always is in 0% and the windows looks very bad. I uninstall and now everythinks it's OK!!

 

I have the last question for you... how i can activate the gestures? in windows my laptop have multitouch capacitive....

The driver doesn't support gestures yet!! Sorry.
