alaskantraveler
Any one else pay attention to the forums at Apple? Seems that there are pages of complaints that Mavericks updates and installs breaks existing installs of Mac OSX up to and including Mountain Lion. Plus won't run on it's own. On true Mac machines, not our hackintoshes.

alaskantraveler
Lots of people have. But then, too, maybe they are trying to upgrade machines that are outside of the Mac hardware lists. You know, wrong years or something. We expect things not to work. But if I just paid 4 or 5 k for a real mac pro that was shipped with 10.8.x and upgraded it from the Apple store then wasn't able to use it anymore, I would be pissed. And a lot of them are! We are more knowledgable than the average Macintosher, and do things right.
