mheletz
Hello Everyone, I'm having lots of trouble getting iCloud, the App Store, and many other Apple Services to work. I am running Mac OS X Mountain Lion. I did the steps in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niU8tsQ_S8o After I rebooted after editing the org.boot.chameleon.plist file, my screen went black and wouldn't show anything. Then I had to change it back through Terminal on the myHack Installation disk. I even bought a new network card because the old one was not being recognized by OS X. I installed OS X through myHack. My new network card is the Sonnet Technologies Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express Card. My old network card, still in there unrecognized, is the Marvel Yukon 88E8057. Does someone know how to fix this issue of the App Store and iCloud not working other than adding the description into org.chameleon.boot.plist? Please help! styrian
Try to do a vanilla install. Distros and also Myhack are installing much disturbing garbage, which is nearly impossible to get rid of. It is not a good idea, to use the method, which you have used. One is thinking, that a hackintosh should work this way and it no really does it in every case. For example: Do you know, what the MyHack.kext is for and how it works? For vanilla install you can follow this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280756-guide-the-all-in-one-guide-to-vanilla-os-x-including-chameleon-dsdt-for-beginners-updated-for-mavericks/ and perhaps use this tool: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/11-pandoraapp/ Yoou can use your partial working install for creating a new vanilla installer. You should also be able to find with the platform search a guide for a working device with similar hardware. Please put your hardware in your signature, like many others have done it. Have fun. mheletz
Thanks. I'll try that, but I have to move my stuff off, which could take a while. And it seems like a lot of steps, so it could take some time to get working. I'm not new to computing at all, just new to hackintosh.
