ATI 7000/7xxx HDMI working OOB with Mavericks DP2

The topic says it all!. Finally they fixed it. I have an ATI 7970M and the HDMI audio is working perfectly now with AppleHDA.

 

Also there was an Image corruption issue with Safari, Quicktime and etc with ATI 7000 that is now solved as well.

Glad to hear that though I noticed a subtle change from ATI to AMD to the kexts in the Extensions folder

I have also noticed Apple has been slowly refactoring references of ATI to AMD in various Kexts.

Yeah they have since the ATI monicker stopped once the 6xxx series came in though personally I like the sound of ATI more so than AMD but my opinion never counts. -_-

The ATi name has great history behind it, AMD only had  Phenom X* and it all went downhill...
