Hi,

Recently got my graphics to work with mountain lion and am loving it. Now only sound is missing. What would be the easiest way to get sound working on my machine.
Specs : AsRock z75 pro3 , i7 3770, radeon 7950.

Thanks
Mic

You should be able to use the AppleHDA from the download section as you got an ALC892 chipset.

I should have mentioned it, you need to inject the correct "layout-id" property. You can either use a HDAEnabler.kext or a DSDT edit. Sadly I didn't find any good tutorial for this.
You can try this kext and modify the layout-id in its Info.plist.

It always depends on the AppleHDA you use. In this case it is "1".

I never used it myself so I can't tell you for sure. If you open the file with a text editor, it should be "AQAAAA==". If you open it with a plist editor, it should be "01000000".
