hi
i m trying to get a DSDT file for this laptop but DSDT editor gives me after a plain aml from linux
147 errors 1 warning 3 remarks and 3660 optimizations

most errors are object does not exits or object not found or not accessible

i have search but cant find an answer to this

machine has wifi,pan webcam, usb and hd graphics working only thing missing is sound

any help is much appreciated

after i check the file i found two // then one line and another // on other line
i put  that  on the line between and most errors have gone

using the kexts AppleRTC from ##### solved my cmos reset problem
the only thing that still kernel panic is sound.
using Mac OSx 10.8.2

anyone can help explain what this DSDT is ? and help me creating one?

my sound still creates a kernel Panic i dont know if this is not related to the lack of DSDT or not and dont know wich patch i can apply to my file
all errors are gone now i can compile but a native DSDT from Linux will do nothing on OSx unless is Patched right?

ok, send me a DSDT  from linux or win clean any patch, I go patch this for you, and please put all your hardware in your signature, look mine

Thanks Ifire my first post has the linux dsdt file
i will get you the lspci from linux live cd

hi
attached both files on a zip
i made sound work with cassio file but it didn't work on boot IOHDfemaly or something not VoodooHD KP

removed the voodooHD and i get to desktop
this files was created with acpidump on ubuntu

i  verify disk and fix permitions and now it boot with sound working KP is gone

i got the DSDT from windows with AIDA and the files are exactly the same ...same number of errors
my machine power saves but the screen gets all white with the mouse on it
i have no battery low alert  then sometimes it just cuts power and only restart at second reboot

machine is stable but still i have two problems
i really don't know when battery is low so most of the time it goes off with all programs open
screensaver makes the screen all white but it returns to normal after i press a key

iFIRE any good news for me?
