Can any of the OSX releases work on this machine?

EDIT : i also noticed that atheros ar9462 wi-fi device isn't either supported and i dont have a 2nd ethernet cable

Would MacOS run on my Acer Aspire with ATi Radeon graphics? From what I know, most of the iMacs have nVidia graphics inside.

If the bios has an option to switch to descrete graphics only, it might work. Otherwise you need a bios mod. But this seems to be only possible, if this option is implemented in the bios of your laptop and only hidden.
To proof this existing option you have to extract the ACPI tables in windows to a file and search in it for "descrete" or "dedicated" gfx option. Use a tool like AIDA64 for this.
