I installed ML 10.8.2 with Niresh usb, but could not get some devices optimized.


I installed this driver at "http://forum.netkas....p?topic=3456.0", but my box recognized 5700 as shown at attached picture. Btw this kext works full resolution - 1920x1200.

Please let me know where is the right kext for asus radeon 6770.

That is how it works for that card. Is why device ID is added to both 6000 controller and 5000 controller. I know it's very strange and defies all logic, but it works. Card is same architecture as 5000 series, but still odd to load 2 different controllers.

with PCEFI 10.6 Lion+Snow , my HD 6770 is recognized as a HD 5700 Series card, but with the last chameleon release, as a HD 6770 series card !

You could always inject the card into the DSDT and manually set the name if you wanted to...
