I have got my ML working almost perfectly with Battery Indicator / Sound / and GFX working perfectly (If you need the Battery kexts please let me know).

What I need is to enable Renesas USB 3.0 port and a issue with sleep mode from which it does not wake up.

My config is in my sig.

Hi,

For USB 3.0 did you try PXHCD.kext ?

And for power management an SSDT.aml for i5 in /Extra folder should work.

Thnx, will try these out, now there is a funny problem which arised after installing Chimera 1.1 the trackpad has disappeared , where do I get the original kexts for my Synaptics 7.2 ?

I used the kext but hangs when I plug anything in the USB 3.0 port.

The moment I plug-in anything on the USB 3.0 the system stops responding.

I have the same problem. Can someone help us??? I´ve tried a lot of PXHCD kexts and nothing...

You will need the proper kexts I suppose. You can try voodoo battery or I could give you the ones I am using.


Use the kexts with Kext Utility. Hopefully it should work.

No the USB does work, stops responding. It is a Renesas USB 3.0

Which SATA controller is on your mobo ? cause i have two others kexts for Renesas USB 3.0, but they seem to not be compatible with ICH7 on LGA1155

I think it is ICH6 (Intel HM65 chipset)

Did you try differents usb options with chameleon?

Set legacy USB bios option in Auto mode.

No such option in the BIOS except Enable Legacy USB Emulation.
