I installed a windows 7 partition on my hd which overwrote my bootloader. Im trying to boot into OSX but everytime I choose OSX i get to the apple and it just locks up there. No kernel panic... Any ideas?

How are you choosing to boot OSX right now without a boot loader? Did you reinstall chameleon, or using a boot disk or?

Don't think that will work in Lion. you can install chameleon from windows, although I've never done it personally http://www.insanelym...howtopic=255052

Got it. was using the wrong bootloader disc
