Has anyone successfully used this combination, or have any guidance otherwise?

Here's a minimal DSDT for bios 3203. I don't have one for 3402 but you may be able to downgrade to 3203 and use this or change this based on the DSDT you get out of 3402. Remember to change the address to the OperationRegion GVNS. That is different based on settings you have in your bios. You can extract your current DSDT, look at the address for GVNS and then put that into this DSDT for 3203 and compile.

Also, this assumes that you have a quad-core hyperthreaded CPU. If you are using something with less than eight virtual cores, you'll need to modify the _PR section to remove some of the CPU's to reflect your setup.
