I had add the id(0x016a8086) to AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext and AppleIntelHD4000Graphics.kext, then i use EFI STRINGS( test all, from 0 to B) , many efi string can get right resolution but no qe.

when i kextload the applehd4000graphic.kext, it show me" /system/library/extensions/AppleIntelHD4000GraphicsGLDriver.kext failed to load - (libkern/kext) not found; check the system/kernel logs for errors or try kextutil(8)."

and the logs:

2012-08-16 15:32:43 -0700 com.apple.kextd[12]: Can't open CFBundle for /system/library/extensions/AppleIntelHD4000GraphicsGLDriver.kext.

need advice, thank you.

Update: when i use my own efi string by gfxutil hd4000graphic loaded, but still no qe/ci

But when i login to lion(10.7.5) i can find the appleintelhd4000graphic loaded but after one minute it's be disappear ..

I have tried
0x01660000-9 ab and 01620005 no use..

guys, please give me an idea, thank you very much.

No use any way, i had tried all aapl-id, why i can not get qe/ci? because AppleIntelHD4000Graphics did not have the hardware id 0x016a 8086(although i had add it) in plist), when i change the CPU to i5 3570k I get the GPU full work. So i give up to try, i wast so many time on this.

Now i use i5 3570k with full work.

PS. HD4000 is the same is the HD3000 on Mac test by Glview. Same score, even the HD 3000 is higher( test by E3 1235)

Hi, My Cpu is Xeon E3-1225 v2, it's HD P4000 graphic. Mobo is GA-H67MA. I use Chameleon-2.2 as boot loader. Everything works fine but the graphic.

I wan to know how to enable this graphic on Maverick 10.9.3? Some people said this graphic is the same as haswell HD4600.

Below is my Chameleon parameter. Can anybody help me, thank you.
