Besides current video card compatibility OOB (GraphicsEnabler=No I'm assuming), retinal display adaptation, Ivy Bridge CPU support, and current app functionality (anything else I'm missing?), what's so good about upgrading to Mountain Lion from Lion 10.7.4. Does this mean, Apple will stop making updates for Lion now like they did with Snow Leopard?
What is the benefit of uograding to Mountain Lion from Lion?

I believe theres a 10.7.5 developer build out so Lion will get at least one more major update.
Having used both ML just feels better and is definitely a bit snappier on the laptop; also your configuration for lion (extra folder, kexts etc) should work fine on ML so you've nothing to loose really - for the sake of £14 you might as well just roll with the updates.
