Hi

I am looking at upgrading my EP45-DS3R and Q6600 to a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H with a 2600k Core i7.

I want a system that is the easiest to set up and maintain but I would rather not depend on 'Release' versions of OSX.  Would rather stick with Vanilla.

Any advice on working with this Mobo/CPU combo?
