After running ###### with non dsdt settings for acl887 and following tuts on tony mac i cant get my audio working.

I think i installed the wrong drivers at first so its possible that it could be a driver conflict.

I've attached an ioreg file with my system info.

Please, extract your DSDT and attach it here. I'll patch it with olarila.com's patches by motherboard.

Bye

You should use it, not only for audio, but for SpeedStep, Sleep, etc..

No, you don't need a re-installation (you need java). Extract the DSDT and attach here :)

Bye!

Ok, after some work i get the dsdt fixed at 100%.

Download it, put in the folder /Extra, then, install ALC887 Kext for DSDT from You-Know-What.

Cheers!

Firstly, delete all audio injectors (HDAEnabler.kext, VoodooHDA.kext, AppleHDA.kext, ALC8xx.kext, ALC8xxHDA.kext, etc..). Create a folder in the root of your Partition (where you have installed Lion) called "Extra" (without quotes). Now, insert DSDT.aml in Extra Folder and run You-Know-What and install AppleHDA for ALC887 for DSDT users.

Cheers!

ok so I've deleted those kexts, should i delete these also? appleUSBAudio.kext, audioAUUC.kext AudioIPCDriver.kext applefwaudio.kext , ioAudio2family.kext , AppleAVBAudio.kext , AppleFWAudio.kext

There is already an Extra Folder in the root of lion that has a dsdt.aml in it as well as org.chameleon.Boot.plist and smbios.plist.

Should i delete this dsdt file and replace with yours?

No, don't delete those kexts. For DSDT, firstly, try to install AppleHDA.kext (Patched for ALC887) and see if it works, if not, replace the DSDT.

didn't work, tried both methods. Maybe if you have some free time you could remote login to the mac and see what I'm doing wrong?

Mmh.. this package contains VoodooHDA.kext for audio. So, i think that's the solution.
