bertig
Hi, i vainly try to enable deep sleep on my Lion 10.7.3 installation whithout success. Normal sleep is working properly with sleepenabler.kext as long as the power is connected In some forums they say, it wont work because of the helper partition. Can anyone confirm a fully working installation with deep sleep / hibernate ?
eep357
regardless of raid, desktop should only be set to hibernate mode 0 for "normal sleep". In mode 3 for laptops where where RAM is only powered down if needed and system state is also written to disk, should only be a problem if RAM does shut down and using software RAID as it will not be able to mount the array to read the disk image. Mode 25 which doesn't use ram and just writes to disk only, won't work unless you change the path of the hibernate file to another disk, if it would fit on the boot helper partitions that would be ideal, but they are too small
