Murdoc2k Posted July 15, 2012 Share Posted July 15, 2012 I've just installed Mac OS X 10.7 Lion on VMWare and have ran the update to make sure that I have the latest version of the OS installed. I attempted to download xCode via the app store, but I was unsuccessful in doing so because every time I clicked "install app" I would get the infinite spinning wheel and nothing would happen regardless of hours of waiting. I began thinking if it was because my OS wasn't up to date. A search showed that XCode required 10.7.3 or higher to run and that my version of the OS was stuck at 10.7 so I tried installing 10.4 but was met with resistance saying that I needed 10.7.3 first. I installed 10.7.3 and was told that my hard drive's volume configuration did not match the requirements to install the 10.7.3 update and became more confused. All I want to do is to be able to use XCode to create my own iOS App. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
