I have Mountain Lion GM installed on my Hackintosh. Almost everything works, but I can't get QE/CI on my graphics. I use original Apple's kexts for HD3000 and Chimera by tonymac. What can I do?

Although it may make no difference try the 8.3 not the 8.1. The 8.3 includes device id's for more modern hd3000's - worth a try if the 8.1 one ain't working

Device ids are stored in kexts, not SMBios. Anyway, I've tried. Still nothing.

How are you testing for QE/CI?I have Mountain Lion GM installed on my Hackintosh. Almost everything works, but I can't get QE/CI on my graphics. I use original Apple's kexts for HD3000 and Chimera by tonymac. What can I do?

Device ID's may be stored in plists in kexts but certain kexts are only loaded if the SMboardproduct of the kext matches that of the smbios. Why do you think you need a smbios in the first place?
To test for qi/ce try playing a dvd and see if your dock is reflective rather than solid

Any updates on this? Can't get my HD 3000 working (01128086) to work no matter what. See http://www.insanelym...howtopic=280971 for more info.
