Good Morning All,

I have successfully installed 10.8 DP4 on the following specs with everything working as it should besides The computer will not wake from sleep and the front and back mic ports do not work

intel core 2 q6600
4gb ram
160gb sata hdd
ATI Radeon Saphire 5870 1GB
Foxconn G9657MA Motherboard
foxconn marvell yukon 88e8056

I am not sure whether i have ever had sleep and wake working correctly on any install i have done for 10.6 10.7

Any help and advice would be greatly appricaited

I hope it wont disappoint you, but getting sleep to work is usually the hardest thing to get working. It usually involves DSDT editing, which from what I've gathered is very complicated and I have no idea how it works . What are your ACPI settings in your BIOS set to? Make sure suspend to ram is enabled to S3. If you have an option called 'check ready bit', disable it. Good luck!

Have you tried using sleep enabler on chameleon?
