I don't think you're doing it right.
1. Boot the OSx86 ModCD and wait until it shows a funny looking menu.
2. Eject the ModCD and insert the retail DVD.
3. Wait 10 seconds, and press F5
4. Type mach_kernel if you have an Intel Core CPU, don't type anything if you have a different CPU.
5. Press Enter.

Post a pic of the freeze.
Try w/out mach_kernel, too.

PookyMacMan, i discovered that the problem was the DVD drive that was not in good conditions, now i plug an external DVD drive and the OSX boots, should i use this version
"Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Build: 10A432 "Golden Master"?
what version should i use? atm im trying to use this version but when i try to use disk utility to erase partition the OSX somehow freeze at the point when it says "unmounting disk".. also i've tried to use the old existing partition but it seems the OSX somehow freeze at the point when it says "Installing Mac OS X on the disk..."
what should i do?

Dude, patience is key.
In any case, that is a retail disc. That should be OK. What are your drive controller IDs? Post your PCI IDs here.

For Snow Leopard, that is enough.
