Hi guys,

I have a problem with my Dell vostro 1400, bellow is my laptop spec:

CPU: Intel Core2Duo T9300
Ram: 4G
VGA: nVidia geforce 8400GS

After I installed Lion 10.7.3 almost function work well but I couldn't shutdown and restart it.
I have tried with something I read in this 4rum however it's still broken although I read and did very carefully.

Please help me....

Because I just a newcomers so please write step by step and as clear as possible.

in dsdt _PTS needsa  tweak.. if it works.. on some laptops it dont, like my inspiron 1520 with NVIDIA 8600
but on m1530 it works. but on m1330 it doesnt
(sseems to be a EC chipset issue .. m1530 has in dsdt  MECI disabled (in SMI Method ) while on m1330 and 1520 its used and wont shut down)

yep youre in same boat as m1330 and inspiron 1520 nvidia.. the intel version video shuts down.

were holding power button down 12 seconds for power off.
