Trying to patch dsdt of Dell Inspiron N5010
Config:


CPU : DualCore Intel Core i5 540M, 2800 MHz (21 x 133)

Extracted my dsdt and patched with this patch and patched appleLPC since i don't have it.
got the two errors in compilation which didn't fix:

5340 error Min/Max/Length/Gran are all zero,but no resource tag
5347 error Min/Max/Length/Gran are all zero,but no resource tag

Am i doing something wrong. I'm new to this dsdt thing.

Please read THIS to understand, and then apply the fix to your DSDT in both lines 5291 and 5298 (Length). Will appear as follow:

It was sucessful. generate c & p states are enabled in chameleon but still it doesn't generate the states. any help with this please?
my laptop is always too much hot. Except sleep and the states everything works flawlessly. Waiting for reply. thanks again.

Chameleon-2.1svn-r1768 can't generate c-sates and p-states ?
and looking at scope _PR in my dsdt i can't find a clue.
pstste changer doesn't work for me so can't find out the pstates

any help would be highly appreciated ..
