I am proud to introduce a new working VoodooHDA driver for CX20671 HD Smart Audio. This litte changed Version of VoodooHDA was found somewhere in the WWW. It was changed to work on another ConexantHD Soundcard.
I changed PCI Primary Match to the CX20671 HD Smart Audio ID.

On my ThinkPad x121e now sound is working like a charme. Everything is working. As well AutoSwitching (normal VoodooHDA it doesn't ) works fine. I also think HDMI is working it is not tested jet.

IMPORTANT
In This Version I added a string for INTEL HDMI (INTEL HD3000/4000 etc.) on PCIPrimaryMatch. So if you do not have a Intel HDX000 you have to remove the 8086 on PCI Primary Patch in Contents/info.plist.

This Version is now the best working solution for Sound.

1.) Intall my changed VooDooHDA. Remove AppleHDA

2.) Remove in your DSDT AZALIA etc.

ADD the following DSDT ....

I am proud to introduce a new working AppleHDA driver for Conexant CX20671 HD Smart Audio (Lenovo Thinkpad x121e)
VoodooHDA was a mess so I started to edit AppleHDA Lion to get the sound correct working.

THe very important thing is: Auto Switching is working fine.

This driver is a first beta. There are some Bugs, it will show u wrong devices in system pref. It is cause so far I did not edit the Nodes. It ll follow the next time.

How2
1.) remove all injectors .... VoodooHDA etc.
2.) Install the attached AppleHDA
3.) Insert the DSDT Mod.


DSDT Mod (without HDMI ll follow the next few time)

Hi XmodD,

I have tried your solution. Works fine except that microphone doesn't work (Lenovo G570).
See attached image. Have you any tip or update?

Do not use the old AppleHDA .... Use the new patched VooDooHDA. It will give u full audio support
