cwcw Posted December 23, 2011 Share Posted December 23, 2011 Hello, I have successfully set up 10.7.2 on my Thinkpad W520. There are two graphics chips I can choose in the BIOS, "Integrated" (Intel HD3000) or "Discrete" (Nvidia Quadro 1000M). Everything works great under the Discrete setting, but it won't boot with the Integrated setting. I'm using the latest Chimera bootloader. I get a Kernel panic about "No HPETs available." I have tried a DSDT patch but no luck. Any ideas? It would be good for battery life to be able to use integrated graphics. Thanks!
