Hi. I'm having a couple of problems post-installation. My system specs are:

OS: iATKOS L1 (with 10.7.2 and iTunes 10.5 updates)

Processor: Intel Core i7-950

RAM: Micron 1066Mhz DDR3 (6 x 2GB)

Internal Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1.5GB ST31500341AS

External Hard Drive: Seagate FreeAgent Desk 2TB

DVD Drive: HP DH16DSS

DVD Burner: HP DH16AAL

Keyboard: Logitech MX3200

Mouse: Logitech MX610

UPS: APC Back-UPS RS 1500

Printer: Epson Artisan 835

Webcam: Logitech Webcam Pro 9000

For booting, I use the following arguments:

npci=0x2000

cpus=4

busratio=23

USBBusFix=Yes

And here are the packages I selected during installation:

Chameleon 2.0

Built-in Ethernet

Original Apple Boot Logo

FakeSMC

Disabler

RTC

EvOreboot

IOPCIFamily

AHCI SATA Intel

VoodooHDA 2.7.3

USB

Motherboard Sensors

NVEnabler

Now for the problems:

  1. Choosing "Sleep" causes it to crash hard, requiring a reinstall. Have tried "DSDT Patcher" to no avail.
  2. Kernel panics during boot if I don't reset the bios to defaults and redo config.
  3. When trying to edit the boot.plist files in the 'Extras' directory, I get the message "You don't own the file..."
    I have tried changing the uid/gid to '<uid>:staff' to no avail.
  4. Some keys on my keyboard don't work

Talking about numbers 1-2, those are a PITA.

Talking about number 3, how do I edit it? Copy the file and replace the original after making a backup?

Talking about number 4, are drivers available to enable the special keys? And is it possible to remap the 'windows' key to 'Alt' for the command key?
