There are many sellers in ebay who do it for 10-20$, find one with positive feedback and comments :)

Evilmind is right, I got my iPhone 5 AT&T based unlocked the day I got it by Will aka chr0nic (if memory serves correctly) done for about $35 and within a couple hours my iPhone was unlocked.  Had no reason to really unlock it yet but a factory unlock will always prove handy when I plan on doing my habitual travels every now and then over seas.
