I have a i7-970 based Hackintosh with a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R Motherboard, running 10.6.8.

I am trying to use a Conceptronic CBT100U USB bluetooth dongle.

The system "sees" the dongle, but when I go to "set up a new device" it does not find my headset (yes, it is discoverable.)

Also, it take like 30 seconds of spinning beach ball to load the Bluetooth system pref panel, then it shows 'unavailable' until I unplug and replug the dongle. Then it still says "unavailable' in the menu bar pulldown.

According to this -- http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.4.1 -- the dongle SHOULD work...

Do I need some special driver?

Help!

Thanks!
