So I have a MacBook Pro. I used bootcamp and installed win7 on it so I would be able to play cod4. Pretty simple and straightforward, I thought. Now it (cod4) won't start, it won't even get past the preloader screen and tells me: DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error. Check the readme for possible solutions.

I have been trying to get this to work for 14 hours. Call me pathetic, but I can't figure it out. If I need to post my technical specs to have my question answered, tell me. But I have been awake for 24 hours and need to get some sleep, so that is what I shall leave you with. Please amaze me with your knowledge of everything that is good.
