Does anyone know if there'll be a rEFIt version that works with OS X Lion anytime soon?

Would love to get my dualboot with Ubuntu running again.

What are you guys talking about? Have you even tried using the existing rEFIT with Lion?
rEFIT consists of a bunch of EFI binaries. Not related to Lion. They're run by the EFI firmware.
I have rEFIT installed on Lion under vmware. The icons don't show up, but that has something to do with VMware's EFI firmware, not with Lion.

FYI,
I installed rEFIt on Lion guest under Workstation 8, and it works, including the icons.
