Cr0n_J0b Posted January 17, 2011 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Hey everyone. I'm new to the apple TV landscape. I just got an older AppleTV and was thinking of hacking it. I'm not there yet, but its something I will likely do. In the mean time i have some simple questions: 1) Should I update the firmware or just leave it alone until i hack it? 2) If i update to hack with a patchstick or something, Can i always go back to the factory settings? 3) is there something I should do first, like backup the main drive OS or something? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
