Pimptastic
I am wanting to block outgoing connections for certain apps, like limewire, bittorrent etc. Would be good if i could do this on an application basis. I would like it if this could be done without the user knowing to stop employees using such applications. Can the built in firewall do this or do i need antoher application? Little Snitch looks pretty good, but don't know if you can just set up the rules and not have it alert you with a pop-up each time?! Any other suggestions? Thanks
Rammjet
Here is another product to review: http://www.intego.com/netbarrier/ Supposedly, the Mac firewall can be configured through Terminal to do what you want. The firewall uses the Unix ipfw program and rules can be set up in a file. I'm not fluent on those. I suggest doing a Google on ipfw rules

A Nonny Moose
Why not just don't install one of the three evil P's (peer to peer file sharing)? Then you won't have to worry about it
