guilliamo Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Lucky I live Sandy Eggo. Was only 9:18 PM Pacific Standard Time ! The point I was originally making was that a pretty cheap dual-core hackintosh really fares pretty well against quad core machines, even winning overall in a few areas. Put another way, it looks to me like if you put the typical user...even a "power" user...in front of my hackintosh and then in front of a new Mac Pro, that user MAY perceive that the Mac Pro is a little faster, but hardly $2000 faster !
