Svenmike Posted November 7, 2010 Author Share Posted November 7, 2010 Thanks! It seems as if I do only have 2 states. B2 stepping only has C1E, which I guess means I have C1 and C1E. Ill give the windows tool a try and see what happens. Currently I have p-states working (may not be the correct values...) and CSTinfo is in IOREG.... yet my sleep works, but the display's don't power back on after wake up and neither does my usb keyboard. Seems as though my C-states are not being calculated correctly. Do you know if that could be my problem? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What chipset is on your motherboard and what video card do you have? Sounds like you're using "the old way" with hand edited DSDT processor scope. Try Chameleon 2.0 RC5. I have used the RC5 method and I got the same results so I was trying to see if manually editing them would help (plus its more fun...) Gringo Vermelho Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 Maybe you could take a look at the USB devices in the DSDT from a real Mac that has ICH8. There's a thread over at the ProjectOSX forum with DSDTs from real Macs. Of course you'll need to find out which models used the ICH8 (2005-2006). You could also try to find DSDT from other Hackintosh users with ICH8 and compare to yours. There are several posts with DSDT fixes for USB on ICH10 floating around but I can't say how well those would work on the ICH8. Maybe you can compare the datasheets...urgh..gives me a headache just thinking about it. When troubleshooting, disconnect non-essential USB devices. Apple developer tools come with some USB debugging stuff, maybe you can do something with that, also system- and kernel.log sometimes contain information about wake and sleep events.
