Hi Maldon,

my Leo is still running nice at 10.6.6. And I found the reason for my non-working sleep.

It was my external soundcard, now its working finde.

The reason for my post is that i want to find out how to activate the speedstepping for my cpu.

Do you remember, you made me a bundle for my configuration:

Fixs in your DSDT

DTGP

ALC889A

HID/CID

HPET

IRQs

RenamedDevices

RTC

SBUS

Shutdown

EHCI

LPC ICH9

ICH9 USB sleep

I tried voodoopower.kext but after restart there seem to be no change of my stepping.

Do you have an idea?

EDIT: Now I managed to activate voodoopowermini.kext. VoodooMonitor shows a changing Multipler and Volts now depending on cpu-load. Seems very good so far.

Then I mentioned the "throttle" tab:

As soon as I activate this function to throttle the cpu, the temperatures are much lower, as low as my windows-temps.

So it seems that automatic throttleing does'nt work properly.

Do you know how I get it work?

Probably final Edit: Just deleted "AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext". Now its working perfect. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Another Edit: No, its not working. Without the "AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext" sleep does'nt work anymore. What to do?

Actually last Edit: I updated Chameleon from v4 to v5, now its working perfect. But I still don't get WHY. What the heck does Chameleon do? Im frustrated.

Thank you
