elchuchopisado
First off let me tell you how i installed just in case theres an issue there. I have 3 partitions (Snow, Backup, and Time). Snow is for the main system, Backup is just a 10.6 retail installation that i can boot with boot CD in case the main system doesn't work (which is what i'm doing now) and time is for time machine. Ok so the way i installed is by installing 10.6 to Backup first to get that working. I then installed 10.6 on snow FROM the already working Backup installation. I then installed Chameleon, set up the kexts in there and restarted. The system booted up fine and everything was working and i started installing updates. I had already tested 10.6.4 beforehand and i had not been able to boot, after installing a newer version of NVKush.kext i was able to boot into 10.6.4 (i knew it was the problem cause i just got a black screen after starting up seemed to have gone fine) but anyway it had fixed it. The partitions were messed up when i had tested 10.6.4 so i decided to wipe clean and start over with those 3 partitions and have everything the way i wanted. Anyway i followed the same procedure on the new installation, installed 10.6.4 and replaced NVKush.kext with the new one. I also deleted LegacyHDA.kext and updated the AppleHDA.kext to get sound working. Now when i try to boot everything seems to go fine and then i get to the login screen displaying my name and then a guest account. I can move my mouse and everything but the buttons are unresponsive. I tried waiting around 10 minutes and still nothing. It just hangs at the login screen. Any ideas about what could be causing the problem? Neflem
You may need the PS2 drivers. If you plug in an external keyboard and mouse, does it work?
