dtm3dd Posted July 31, 2006 Share Posted July 31, 2006 A possible fix for the mooing issue with macbooks: A user found that if he reset his Power Management Unit the mooing problems stopped on restart. The steps he took: 1. Shutdown and disconnect power. 2. Remove battery. 3. Hold down power button for more than 5 seconds. 4. Reinsert battery and reconnect power. 5. Boot. However, responses to this have been mixed in some cases it works in others it doesnt. detailed instructions on resetting the pmu can be found here.
