Onishi
Hi everybody. I've got next problem. I've installed into my laptop Toshiba A-100 906 three OS's. This is Windows XP , Ubuntu 8.04, Mac OS X (Kaliway 10.5.2). Into After installation I noticed that video system use NVinject.kext kernel extension. Into Mac info I saw next information: Unknown nVidia: Chipset Model: Unknown nVidia Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 512 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0398 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: NVinject 0.2.0 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1280 x 800 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported Rotation: Supported Display Connector: Status: No display connected My geForce 7600 Go has 256 Mb RAM not 512.v 0.2.0 So I installed NVinjectGo.kext v 0.2.0 After that I got next: Unknown nVidia: Chipset Model: Unknown nVidia Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0398 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: NVinjectGo 0.2.0 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1280 x 800 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported Rotation: Supported Display Connector: Status: No display connected But both of kernel extensions have one problem. After display is off by OpwerSaver I get black display and I can't get normal display working back. I watch black display and I have to put the reset button. What I have to do to fix it ? Thanks. P.S. Sorry for my poor English.

BuXb
Try the attached com.apple.Boot.plist. Also, look here for a modded nvinject.kext. Apply either the boot.plist OR the kext. [EDIT]: sorry, now the .zip is working .. com.apple.Boot.plist.zip

Tjarda
I dont understand it. Now I still dont have QE enabled on my GO7600 256mb in my acer laptop. I tried natit, nvkush and the new nvinject installer. Only with the nvinject i got kernel panic, my lap didnt boot up anymore, also not in safe mode. But how can i remove Kext? Just drag them from the system/libary/extensions folder to the bin? Anyone else got QE working on a GO7600 in a laptop? Getting a bit frustated overhere..

AubieTiger
So wait....the Graphics info in Profiler should be accurate? I thought this was just generic Nvidia driver a la Linux. I also show 512 MB on 64MB Go 7400. Mind you that my card was also marketed as a 256 Tubocache but it only had 64MB of dicrete memory with rest the OS shared graphics memory. I also couldnt recover my display once it put it too sleep. Ive since disabled display sleep. EDIT: I noticed on boot right before Darwin kick into graphic boot its flashes Nvidia VESA 3.0 with the correct amount of discrete memory on my GPU. here my info. Onishi
I have tried to connect an axternal monitor and I haven't working one after full loading Mac OS X. I've became next thing at the beginning loading(the monitor is working). but after full loading the monitor was disconnected. I think all the video board and laptop required manualy edit the NVinject*.kext Somewhere in this forum I've seen how to do it.
Minotour
Hey everyone I've been out of the loop for a while after attempting to install OSx86 on my Sony Laptop with a 7600 GO as most of you know the internal LCD screen doesn't work with the kexts and only an external does, i was wondering has there been any developments that allow it to work with the internal cause it's the only thing holding me back to fully switching over. Thanks
