The Edge3000
I got my 3 GHz Q6600's speedstep working via DSDT fix! However, it keeps randomly jumping to the highest clock speed, without any real load. For example, with nothing running, it idles at its lowest speed, 1998MHz. Yet if I start moving the mouse around, it feels the need to ramp the CPU up to full throttle! Using VoodooPState.kext and Voodoomonitor.kext as well. Is there any way to adjust the threshold of speedstep? Also, which program do I trust? VoodooMonitor is dynamic and will show state changes. mitch_de
Your Voodoomonitor shows wrong Pstatses !!! Normaly voodoomonitor didnt has an bug for that, so something with your PSS is wrong. Do you also use AppleIntelCPU.kext beside vodoo based (Pstatechanger) ? Dont do that, only use ONE: AppleIntelCPU.... OR an voodoo based (voodoopower , superhai or PstateChanger+Voodoxyz)
