amp3d Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 i'm sure this has been asked 1000 times, but Im new to chameleon since I never used that before, and am wondering if someone could clarify how I use the new cham features to install some kexts. I finally got 10.6 working except I have to use a usb keyboard and mouse on my laptop, so I think I need some of the voodoo files to be installed. previously I always used a distro of some sort, so I never really learned how to manually install kexts thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jostheim Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 I am also trying to install an nvinject kext and having problems too, I drop it in System/Library/Extension and fix permissions, I've tried kext_utility and again it installs, but when I show the installed kexts (can't remember the command, but I did show them all) I don't see the nvinject kext.
