Active Noise Canceling Headphones for Vehicle Noises

Hi. Usually active noise canceling is geared toward jet engine noise and office equipments but could anyone recommend a list of headphones or earphones (in ear and all types) that has active noise canceling that is extremely effective in canceling out vehicle noise such as cars, trucks, scooters, vans, motorcycles and tricyles from 50 to 70 decibles to 40 to 30 decibels or even near 0 decibels. If you can post a good review of them, that'd be very helpful.

 

I'm into iPhone app development but it's very hard to concentrate with all that vehicle noise coming into your room. I've tried acoustic board, double layer on the windoes, it's not enough, there's no light anymore and the room would become too hot and there's no ventilation too.

 

Perhaps an active noise canceling headphone or earphone that can cancel out these vehicular noises and could be the fix. The noise is also starting to affect health and sleep after more than decade hearing them. Raising the walls and gate to bounce back as much noise back to the street could work but it would be too costly. Other suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Try these out. I had some loud coworkers and these really helped quiet things down. Not to mention have incredible audio quality to boot. I got them when they were on sale for $99 and got really lucky... They are well worth the price. I often wear them with no music at all just because they quiet the noise of the PC or any ambient noise in general.
