Soon I will be building a computer, I am going to keep it realistically priced/ I want price to be low. But I want for it to be FULLY COMPATIBLE with Snow Leopard; so I would like your Hardware recommendations that are compatible with Snow Leopard.

CPU: I need a relatively cheap one/needs to be decent dual-core at least.

GPU: I think 9800GTXs are compatible tell me if I am wrong. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...3-149-_-Product $119

Harddrive: Needs at least 500GB and western digital.

Motherboard: I need a good motherboard I want atx or micro-atx and it has to be compatiable with snow leopard.

RAM: I want about 4gb but it needs to be compatible with snow leopard and the motherboard.

Case and PSU: I want a relativity cheap case that is a HTCP case but im going to put it under my desk.

CD/DVD Drive: Needs to be compatible with Snow Leopard.

Any dual core CPU will work, just make sure you get one with VT if you ever care to run VMware.

For HD and DVD Drive stick to sata drives, and avoid Blu Ray roms and you should be ok.

There are a million options for case, it all comes down to you budget. I will say that I think its worth getting one with 120mm fans as it will be silent then (80mm fans are LOUD).

Ram is whatever. I am not sure about a GPU- I just use an old 7900 GS personally.

Really it all comes down to the motherboard. I really like gigabyte- my hackintoshing has been much easier since I starting buying them. Honestly if you can find a (E)P45-DS3L on ebay or something its probably the most compatible board.

Good luck!
