gotchykid
Hi guys, I've been searching around this forum for information about GTX 260 support on snow but can't find anything. I know that netkas has already got it to work on Leopard. Basically I have 2 questions: Does Snow Leopard support the GTX 260 with full QE/CI? Does GTX 260 support OpenCL in Snow Leopard? I'm currently using the 6600GT which doesn't seem to support OpenCL and I'm thinking of upgrading to the GTX 260. Any help is appreciated

naddie
I dunno if all that is supported, but I do know that it works great without modifying SL or adding other kext using the Lifehacker guide. I am running 10.6.1 right now on my eVGA GTX260 at 1920x1080x32.
elitee
All I did was patch the DSDT with the PEGP option and setup the ram, and it worked straight away. It might work with Chameleon v3 and the option to inject an EFI string at boot too.
herbalb
@elitee It would be really great if you could provide some links explaining how to patch DSDT für GTX260. All I did was patch the DSDT with the PEGP option and setup the ram, and it worked straight away. It might work with Chameleon v3 and the option to inject an EFI string at boot too.
