I gather there is not currently any support for the radeon hd 48xx series. Is that true?

Is there anything that can be done in tricking it that it is, in fact, a different gfx card - for example the hd 3xxx series?

Would appreciate some help!

I don't know if this would help, but I have exactly the same graphics as you, anyway. I put the iATKOS disc into my computer, booted it up, and on the Installation, I didn't install, but go into System Profiler. The Graphic Card showed up with Device ID, came up as ATI etc.. so maybe I can note down the Device ID and put it in a kext? Or something..

That might help! Did you get dual monitor support? I've got one working, just not both

I haven't even managed to get my card fully working. I can't change resolution and I don't know how to sort it. How did you get your one monitor working?

Just ran PCI Utility program, and it picks up my graphics card. Should I add the device ID into a kext or what?

"01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Unknown device [1002:944c]"

What worked for me was -

1. MacOSX_10.5.6_radeon_hd_48x0_drivers.pkg -> http://is.gd/q5o0

2. Natit -> http://is.gd/li8r

I installed both of the above, then rebooted

I now have one working monitor. Which is enough for me, rfrankly

That's all i can say!

so all you did was, installed the Mac OS X 10.5.6 package, and then the Natit using Kext helper afterwards? I did that and when I booted, after the apple logo, the screen would go black..

Do you have something plugged into both DVI slots?

Mine doesn't display unless there's something in both...
