JordanNB
I've got an integrated ATI 3100 GPU on my rig and I've got Leopard 10.5.4 running. It runs fine generally, but the graphics don't seem quite right... yes, I know, it's integrated, but from using the same GPU in Linux, XP, Vista, and 7, I know the graphics should be a bit speedier than they are... it's useable, but sometimes a little jerky. Checked the system profiler and here's what it said: Type: Display Bus: PCI VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x9611 Revision ID: 0x0000 Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded Displays: Display: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported QuartzGL: Supported So is there any way I can get it running properly... any chance it might be able to support Quartz Extreme? Or will I just have to buy a cheap GPU that's better supported? Thanks!
