machead5678 Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 Hi, I recently purchaced an Asus EN9500GT MAGIC graphics card to replace an NVIDIA 7*** Graphics Card and as I boot into kalyway 10.5.1, I get the Grey/Black Screen of death on bootup & I install the graphics drivers that come with the installation and i still get it. I did another installation without installing graphics drivers and it worked sucessfully. I installed the drivers and the more screens of death appear on bootup. My specs are: Mobo: Asus P5V-VM DH Card:As shown above^ HDD: IDE (better for kalyway i heard) CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo RAM: Kingston 2 GB Please do not hesitate to ask me questions. -Machead Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

JaE-V Posted December 19, 2008 Share Posted December 19, 2008 Get your system up to date first, at least to 10.5.5. There's been alot of gfx updates since 10.5.1. Then try the latest installers.
