guys who have a HP 530 notebook, if you have a working kext for battery meter, upload it somewhere and post the link here, please.

jsut download this http://forum.insanel...showtopic=14912 and use kext helper to add it but i've had the problem when it tought it was a desktop

heres mine add it witth kext helper but i recomend that you use Jas or kalyway releases becouse iAKTOS Just mess up yoiur pc and alot of things doesn't work btw what CPU are you using

Ok but try the kext but i strongly recomend that you use Kalyway or JaS thats what i do and everything works

i`ll certainly try this
regarding iAtkos, everything works nicely except the battery meter. btw, battery meter is working when i install the system, but as soon as i finish the install process and reboot - it`s gone!
maybe i will try iDeneb to see how it`s working, too.

the problems with iDeneb and iAKTOS is that the fan isn't working properly as in kalway and JaS in JaS it work normal and on mkalyway it's fixed

that the fan doesn't spin at all or it spins breafe like 3 secounds and then stops and that the pc get really hot that was the issus i got when i use IAKTOS on my HP 530

don`t know why you don`t like so much iatkos, but i`ve installed ideneb. it`s quite nice, BUT still no battery meter))
it seams that OSX is against me on this behalf. don`t know what to do next. guess i`ll leave it this way...

an easy anwser i installd iAKTOS on 6 pcs and theres so many problems and upgrading is harder then kalyway and JaS and all other realeses becouse stuff stop working and the fan does't work on many pcs

i hacked my bios and changed to the original apple wifi with b/g/n which i bought for $40
