Ok, this taken from: http://developer.apple.com/macosx/adopting...albinaries.html

"Note: You can create a universal binary on either a PowerPC or Intel-based Macintosh, but you will need both a PowerPC and an Intel-based Macintosh to thoroughly test the resulting application."

So to start a wee discussion... in order to get people developing for Mac... you have too outlay for two hardware platforms (at the moment) this seems it may hinder development of new software

but then in the future it will only be one... but you will still have to have Mac hardware, ( i think hackintosh will not be good enought to develop on and thoroughly test)... this again hinders development. I may be preaching to the converted here, but this is another reason Apple has to release OSX as a general release or it will dwindle.

the soapbox is now free...

Well, you could always recruit beta testers that have both platforms, and simply do your development on one platform.
