Roberto Amorim Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 Hello. I just installed Kalyway 10.5.2 Intel/AMD on my computer (specs down below). After I reboot, I get the following error message: EBIOS read error: Error 0x02 Block 1 Sectors 64 MacOS is installed at the primary partition (75GB) of its own SATA disk. This error shows up both if I try booting directly from that disk (pressing F8 at boot time, etc.) or booting from my Windows disk using the chain0 method. I tried putting the MacOS disk at the primary SATA interface, with no luck. The installation process goes smoothly, and that error never happened when booting from the installation DVD. My hardware is: ASUS PSK-E WiFi/AP (Intel P35/ICH9 chipset) Core2Duo 6750 (2.66 GHz) 2GB OCZ DDR2 memory 250GB Samsung SATAII HDD (for MacOS) + identical HDD for Windows nVidia GeForce 6600GT 128MB Intel Pro/1000PT PCI-E NIC Thank-you for any help.
